How We Support Social Value/ ESG Requirements

Environmental Stewardship

  • UK Waste/ Delivery Only: Unlike other organisations, we only use UK-sourced waste and we only deliver our products to the UK. This reduces our carbon footprint by avoiding imported materials and supports sustainable practices that benefit both the social and physical environment.
  • ‘Employ Local’ Practice: We prioritise local employment to minimise travel-related emissions and support community sustainability and prosperity.

  • Green Energy Website: Our website is verified by The Green Web Foundation, demonstrating our commitment to a fossil-free internet by running on green energy.

  • Environmental Memberships: We are members of environmental business associations to ensure compliance with sustainable practices.

Driving Carbon Neutral

  • Take Back Scheme: We operate a ‘Take Back Scheme,’ allowing any of our products that have reached the end of their useful life to be returned for recycling. All returned products are recycled and re-used to create new British Recycled Plastic items, ensuring sustainability for future generations.

  • Carbon-Saving Offers: Our ‘bundle’ offers have been specifically designed to maximise pallet space efficiency, reducing overall carbon emissions.

  • Carbon Savings Transparency: We make it easy for customers to see the environmental benefits of their purchase with our easy-to-understand milk container count‘ which highlights the plastic waste saved from landfill or incineration. Additional details are available in ourInterim Life Cycle Analysis of British Recycled Plasticreport.
