British Recycled Plastic offers free shipping across Mainland UK (except for the Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland), on all furniture and most other products. However, shipping for Lumber, Hebden X Grids, and Hebden Everyday Grids is based on quantity, weight, and delivery postcode. To get the best shipping quote before purchasing, please contact us
Delivery Times
All our products are custom-made to order, with lead times typically ranging from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on demand. However, Lumber, Hebden XGrids, and Hebden Everyday Grids are usually ready sooner—typically within 5-7 working days.

Delivery Info Step by Step
1: Order Confirmation
Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive a delivery confirmation email within 24 hours with all the details, including your proposed delivery date and delivery method. If applicable, assembly guides will also be included. As our items are almost always over the manual handling limit, we use the pallet network. This means we are unable to give precisely timed delivery slots in the way a courier would. We can usually only let you know the day of delivery, not the hour. If you’re unable to receive your delivery on the scheduled date or if there are any access restrictions at the delivery address, please inform our team in advance.
2: Delivery Method
We use the UK Pallet Network for all deliveries. Orders (excluding those containing lumber over two metres long) are shipped on pallets via standard lorry with a tail lift. Lumber may be delivered on larger, curtain-sided articulated vehicles. If you have access restrictions you must let us know so that we can arrange a smaller vehicle.
3: Kerbside Delivery
Deliveries are kerbside only. Drivers are not permitted to assist with lifting once the product has been lowered from the vehicle. Some vehicles may have a pallet truck, allowing the driver to move items a short distance, provided the ground is firm and stable. This does not usually extend to taking items to the rear of a property.
4: Lumber Deliveries
Orders over 2000mm in length are taken off the side of the delivery vehicle. Offloading requires either a forklift (not provided) or two people for every 50 pieces to assist with unloading as the drivers only have a short delivery time window. Deliveries are kerbside only. Drivers are not permitted to assist with lifting once the product has been lowered from the vehicle. This does not usually extend to taking items to the rear of a property.
5: Packaging
Please note that the delivery drivers are unable to take packing materials or pallets away with them. Please dispose of the packaging responsibly.
6: Assembly
Most of our furniture and products are delivered semi-assembled or flat-packed and require basic tools for assembly. You’ll find a list of the necessary tools in the assembly guides provided with your delivery notes and in your delivery advice email

We do ship to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, yes. Prices vary, so please get in touch with the office to place your order as you will be unable to complete the delivery segment of your order in the webshop.
We do not ship to Europe. We ship within the UK only as we believe it’s important to keep our business circular – we recycle British waste, processing it and engineering our items within the UK and selling it here, too. This ensures that the waste we save from landfill is our own waste and that it’s British workers and businesses benefitting from all our hard work.
Likewise, by shipping to Europe we’d also undermine any efforts recycling industries in those countries may have to sell within their national borders.
British Recycled Plastic Delivery Special Requirements:
Please let us know asap if there is restricted access to the delivery address as our products are often delivered on an articulated lorry. Our products are mounted on pallets. Delivery is usually to the kerbside and delivery drivers are not permitted to assist with any lifting once the product has been lowered from the vehicle, although they should be able to move the pallet a short distance using a pallet truck, as long as the ground is firm and stable (eg tarmac or concrete) and not steeply sloping, and there is clearance of at least 1.2m. You will likely need to enlist some assistance if your delivery is being made, for example, to the front driveway but is going to be set up in the back garden.
British Recycled Plastic Click and Collect is not currently available from our Mytholmroyd address. If you would like to discuss collection, please call the office on 01422 419 555 to discuss your requirements with our team, our products are dispatched and stored from several locations around the UK so collection isn’t always practical.
British Recycled Plastic Delivery Costs are not included in the majority of our products and you will need to add delivery at checkout. The only exception to this is our raised bed kits which have delivery included in their cost.

Discounts with British Recycled Plastic – Our main offer is buy 4 get the 5th Free on a selected range of our Recycled Plastic picnic tables. All of our products are as keenly priced as possible to help stimulate demand and educate the market about the benefits, both environmental and economic, of using recycled materials.
This makes it difficult to reduce our prices beyond those published on this website. However, where large quantities are involved, we are happy to discuss the possibilities.
As part of our Sustainability values we don’t participate in seasonal sales.
British Recycled Plastic delivery time is a standard lead time from order to delivery. This is 20 working days. Regrettably, sometimes it can be longer at busy times.
However, benches, seats, Hebden X-Grids and black lumber can often be turned around in less time at quiet periods in the year.
We always confirm the delivery date when we receive the order.
If you have already paid via the web shop and you feel that the wait is t00 long when you receive your delivery confirmation, we will happily refund you within 2 working days.
Almost all cards are taken via our web shop including credit cards. Alternatively, if you are paying by invoice, there is a Pay Now button on it which leads you to our secure payment portal. If you’d prefer to pay by BACS or by cheque, these options are available too.
