FAQs
What is an X-frame picnic table?
An X-Frame picnic table is an accessible table design that allows users to slide through to sit down rather than the classic A-frame picnic table that requires someone to lift a leg over the seat. It’s ideal for low-mobility users.
How long will the Batley picnic table last?
25 years+. All our picnic tables come with a 25-year guarantee, but since there’s no risk of rotting, splintering, cracking or warping, we’re certain they’ll last decades longer.
Is recycled plastic better than wood?
For outdoor spaces, recycled plastic works better than wood as it is totally weatherproof. That means there’s no risk of rotting, splintering, cracking or warping which can cause injury and discomfort for the public. Being weatherproof also means you can install the picnic table and forget about it for years to come – ultimately reducing maintenance and labour costs long-term.
Does it come assembled?
The Batley comes part-assembled across two pallets for easy delivery and installation.
What treatments or paints do I need for the picnic table?
There’s no treatments or painting required. Designed with UV-stable paints, the picnic table will stay looking bright, bold and fresh for years.
Please Note; Colours of products may vary due to the nature of the recycling process and screen calibration.
