What is British Recycled Plastic?
British Recycled Plastic is a Yorkshire-based UK manufacturer making outdoor furniture (inc picnic tables and benches), raised beds, fencing, decking, and ground reinforcement grids entirely from 100% British Recycled Plastic. Our products keep plastic out of landfill and trees in the ground.
What is your recycled plastic made from?
Our products are made from a Premium Recycled Polyolefin Blend — a mix of post-consumer and industrial waste plastics, including HDPE from household recycling collections. The material is processed into a dense, stable board that performs better outdoors than treated timber.
How long does recycled plastic furniture last?
Our products are built to last decades. Most products carry a 25 year guarantee and won’t rot, splinter, or absorb moisture. Unlike timber, they don’t require painting, staining, or treatment at any point in their life.
Does recycled plastic furniture need maintenance?
No. It doesn’t need painting, oiling, or treating — ever. To clean it, wipe it down with warm soapy water. The colour is integral to the material, so it won’t peel or fade significantly over time.
Do you supply schools, councils, and commercial buyers?

What’s the difference between recycled plastic and treated timber?
Treated timber requires regular maintenance, can rot, splinter, and warp, and has a shorter service life outdoors. Our recycled plastic products need no treatment, won’t rot or splinter, and are designed for permanent outdoor installation. The material is also impervious to insect damage and standing water.
